It may be possible that the new BYD Atto 3 will make its China market debut on May 21, after being unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show 2026. This information was shared by a source within the dealership and has not been confirmed by the automaker.
Flash charge feature and improved battery
BYD has equipped the upcoming Atto 3 model with its second-generation Blade battery, which features the flash charge function. In our earlier coverage, we had mentioned that this crossover SUV boasts a maximum range of 630 km and produces up to 326 hp in its high-range variants.

The 2026 BYD Atto 3 will have the ‘God’s Eye C’ assisted driving feature along with the ‘TBC’ high-speed tyre blowout stability control. The Chinese carmaker has upgraded the cabin layout with a 15.6-inch adaptive rotatable infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, onboard refrigeration unit, and a ‘queen passenger seat’.
Pricing before deductions known
According to online sources that mention dealerships, the base price of the upcoming Atto 3 model is expected to begin from about 120,000 yuan (17,640 USD) for the 540 Leading edition. While the 540 Beyond version is priced at 130,000 yuan (19,110 USD), the 630 Beyond edition has been tagged at 140,000 yuan (20,580 USD).

New features in the Atto 3 include its new front face with slimmed-down headlamps and modified bumper styling. The back includes new taillamp graphics and new bottom trim details. The prototype unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show also included new wheels and new bodywork surfaces.
