In today’s news, BYD revealed that the release date for the 2026 Seagull (nicknamed Dolphin Mini/Dolphin Surf in international markets) is here. The unveiling of this car took place during the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The new generation of the vehicle comes in four versions, with a price range of 69,900 yuan (10,300 USD) to 85,900 yuan (12,600 USD).
What stands out is the availability of the optional “God’s Eye B” intelligent driving system (DiPilot 300) featuring Lidar. With this system installed, the cost of the car rises to 90,900 yuan (13,400 USD) and 97,900 yuan (14,400 USD).

- 305km Vitality Edition: 69,900 yuan (10,300 USD)
- 305km Freedom Edition: 78,900 yuan (11,600 USD)
- 405km Zizai Edition: 78,900 yuan (11,600 USD)
- 405km Flying Edition: 85,900 yuan (12,600 USD)
The Seagull 2026 model includes two new exterior colors, “Mango Orange” and “Mint Green,” as well as other colors such as Warm Sun White and Peach Powder. It comes equipped with 16-inch “Starlight” wheels along with LED taillights featuring an enhanced logo light system. The car’s measurements include:

- Height: 1540mm
- Wheelbase: 2500m
In terms of interior design, the cabin features an “Oatmeal Rice” color scheme. As for the technological advancements in the car, it is furnished with the DiLink 150 system and a 12.8-inch HD display screen.

- DiPilot 300 (optional): Enables City Navigation on Autopilot (CNOA), traffic light recognition, and roundabout navigation.
- Comfort upgrades: 50W wireless phone charging, heated front seats, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
- Safety tech: Driver Monitoring System (DMS), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), and a 5-way driving recorder.
Power for all models is supplied by one engine rated at 55 kW (74 hp) of maximum power and 135 Nm of torque. There are two available options for the battery capacity:
- 30.08 kWh Battery: Provides a range of 305km.
- 38.88 kWh Battery: Provides a range of 405km.
