Ferrari F1 driver Shwartzman scores first win for Haas in Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
in the world is the Formula 1 series, and GM’s luxury car manufacturer decided to commemorate the upcoming participation of this series by offering a unique edition of its CT5-V Blackwing. This particular edition will make its debut in the Miami Grand Prix. Only 26 such cars will be made.
Unique Stampings on Door Panels
The car is loaded with all sorts of cool details. Call-outs may be found throughout the exterior of the vehicle, but perhaps the coolest of these is the F1 logo on the door panels. However, it isn’t just a badge nor an emblem placed there. Instead, the lettering is actually stamped onto the metal. Once ordinary doors for the CT5 have been stamped out, they are removed from the stamping process and shipped off for a unique stamping of the F1 logo.

The body of the car is coated in matte Midnight Stone Frost paint color with Switchblade Silver accents on the bottom carbon fiber bodywork. The decklid wing is carbon fiber as well and has both F1 and FIA badges. The wheels feature Carbon Flash Metallic coloring with gigantic brake rotors that have Harbor Gray Metallic paint on the calipers. The standard badging for a CT5-V Blackwing is in gloss black, but the crests on the front and back are edited to look like the F1 team logo.
Further FIA and F1 branding appears within the interior, such as the medallion badge on the gear shifter. Similar to the medallion badge on the CT5-V Blackwing’s shifter, this medallion badge is created via 3D printing using a metallic material, and it includes the F1 emblem, shift pattern, and detailed lines that are hard to create using traditional CNC milling. The shifter bezel on the center console is carbon fiber, with the FIA logo being placed underneath the clear coat on its forward end. The high-performance front bucket seats feature F1 logos instead of V logos.

We understand that we have been talking a lot about badges, but get ready for the best part—the CT5-V Blackwing F1 is not a mere badge mod. While the Blackwing’s 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V-8 engine is rated at 668 horsepower and 659 lb-ft of torque, the GM Motorsports team tuned the superchargers to push the engine to deliver 685 horsepower and 673 lb-ft.
That means the F1 Collector Series is the most powerful internal combustion engine Blackwing and V model Cadillac ever produced, surpassing even the 682 hp Escalade-V. It goes without saying that more badges will follow, as the custom-tuned supercharger is equipped with a specially machined F1 badge cover and a laser-etched FIA logo.

The CT5-V Blackwing F1 can be ordered only with the manual gearbox, allowing the entire output to drive the rear wheels.
The Precision kit comes with each one of them. This makes the CT5-V Blackwing more suited for racing tracks by enhancing its magnetorheological dampers, adjustable front knuckles, toe-control links, and adding other components that stiffen the chassis. While being stiff might suggest that the vehicle will make you lose all your fillings, the dampers truly perform wonders, even on rough roads.
While pricing is still unclear, the production of the 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series will start mid-2026. As already noted, only 26 units will be produced and will be offered in both the United States and Canada. This suggests that they won’t be available for long. You won’t even see one on the road. Therefore, head down to Miami from May 1st-3rd for a closer look.
